Accessibility and Amenities for Disabled Patrons
All Restrooms at Land Shark Stadium accommodate individuals with disabilities. Family Assisted Restroom accessibility is indicated at the entrance of each restroom and equipped with oversized stalls.

  • Assistive Listening Devices - Complimentary hearing amplification devices are available and provided at all Guest Relations and concierge desks. Guests must present a picture ID, credit card or a valid driver's license as a security deposit for the use of these devices.
  • Disabled Parking - Land Shark Stadium has 262 disabled parking spaces located on site for easy access to and from the stadium. Disabled parking is located at Gates A, C, E and G. A valid disabled parking pass is required for admission into the disabled parking lots. If all disabled spaces are occupied Land Shark Stadium will allow disabled guests to use valet parking at no charge. Also, during the game, paramedic units and an emergency medical technician will be available.

 

Club Seating
Located on the 200 level, these seats are wider, weather-protected and provide access to air conditioned lounges. In order to access the 200 level, guests must have a ticket for the Club Level, a Premium Club, Hall of Champions or Executive Suite.

Field Dimensions
The football playing field is 128,000 square feet of Prescription Athletic Turf, a system which provides draining for its natural grass.

First Aid
Any incident warranting special attention or an emergency should be reported immediately to a nearby Land Shark Stadium employee, who will relay the message to the Stadium Command Post. The Stadium Command Post representative has the ability to dispatch Miami-Dade Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to any given location and is staffed with CSC.

Football Training Facilities
The Miami Dolphins training facility is located at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. The 10 million dollar state-of-the-art facility covers 93,452 square feet and incorporates the latest technology and advances that were utilized in the design of other NFL training facilities. The Dolphins' training center not only houses the team's football operation personnel and the club's administrative staff, but it also serves as the site of the club's preseason training camp and all off-season conditioning programs as well. The facility includes a large locker room area, sauna and steam rooms, a therapy swimming pool, a cold plunge pool, whirlpools and one of the largest weight training rooms in the NFL.

Humana Hall of Champions
Hall of Champions is located in the east endzone (right field) of the Stadium on the 300 level. This area provides a panoramic view of the field and may be reserved during events by groups of 50 or more. It can be used for parties, meetings and conferences.

Situated on 280 acres, Land Shark Stadium is located in the city of Miami Gardens:

  • 16 miles northwest of Downtown Miami
  • 18 miles southwest of Fort Lauderdale
  • 14 miles north of the Orange Bowl
  • 3/4 of a mile south of Calder Race Course
  • 1 mile south of Miami-Dade/Broward County Line

Locker Rooms
Team locker rooms must meet all NFL size and equipment specifications. Each locker room contains four units of 60 lockers each.

The stadium contains the following parking accommodations:

  • 25,000 spaces for cars
  • 171 spaces for buses
  • 90 RV spots
  • 84 limousine slots
  • 262 disabled spaces
  • 1 helipad

Press Box
The Football Press Box is located on the 300 level at Gate G and on the 200 and 300 levels at Gate H. This area is restricted to officials with proper credentials. This area can be accessed via the designated press box elevators at Gate G and H.

Seating Capacity
The stadium features 75,000 permanent seats equipped with 19" chairbacks with arm rests. Seating breakdown below:

  • Lower Deck – 27,397
  • Upper Deck – 34,736
  • Club Seats – 10,209 (equipped with 21" chairbacks with armrest)

Suites
Land Shark Stadium has 187 Executive Suites and Premium Clubs on the 200 and 300 levels. The 10, 12, 16 and 32 seat suites offer televisions, refrigerators, ice makers, private telephone service and suite attendant service.

Ticket Info
Every person attending Super Bowl XLIV at Land Shark Stadium is required to have a ticket regardless of age.

The only method the NFL has to distribute tickets to the public is through a random drawing. There is no other way for the general public to purchase tickets.

Entries for the random drawing are accepted between February 1 and June 1 of the year preceding the game in question. All ticket requests must be sent via certified or registered mail. Those selected in the random drawing will have the opportunity to purchase two tickets.

Requests to participate in the NFL's random drawing for Super Bowl XLIV in South Florida will begin being accepted on February 1, 2007 for Super Bowl XLIVI in Arizona. At this time, the random drawing for Super Bowl XLIV in South Florida is closed.

Game Day Parking Permit Rates

-All vehicles parked within the Land Shark Stadium footprint must be permitted with a visible parking pass.
-Parking permits are for day-of-game only. No re-entry is allowed.
-Each permit is route specific and lot specific. Maps and routes will be displayed on the back of each parking pass.

  • $165 per Limousine, Stretch Limousine, Town Car or Van
    Includes $150 parking fee plus a $15 service fee per permit
  • $325 per Mini Bus or Full Size/Luxury Bus
    Includes $300 parking fee plus a $25 service fee per permit

General Spectators

  • $60 per Car
    Includes $50 parking fee plus a $10 service fee per permit

Hotel/Private Shuttles
There will be no shuttle vehicles allowed to drop-off or waiting zone areas available in or around Land Shark Stadium. Game ticketed individuals parking at the Stadium must purchase parking permits. All clients on buses, limousines or private cars must ride in their vehicle to their designated parking space and return to that location to depart after the game.

GAME DAY RESTRICTIONS
Every person attending Super Bowl XLIV at Land Shark Stadium is required to have a ticket, regardless of age or size.

Screening Procedures for Those Attending Super Bowl XLIV

Security screening at Land Shark Stadium will be significantly heightened for the Super Bowl. Many items usually permitted into NFL venues are not allowed into Super Bowl. The National Football League and the Miami-Dade Police Department strongly recommend that game attendees minimize the number and size of all items carried into the Stadium. If you are in doubt about the appropriateness of an item, it is best to leave it behind on Game Day.

All items carried by game attendees will be carefully inspected and may potentially not be allowed into the Stadium. 8 ½ x 11 inches is allowed. The NFL, Land Shark Stadium and the Miami Dade Police Department cannot hold prohibited or excluded items for game attendees.

Safety and security of all fans is still at the forefront in preparation for Super Bowl XLIV.

  • All hard fruits unless cut into bite-size pieces
  • Any plastic liquid container with seal broken

  • Whistles, horns or other noise makers
